What is the BC Athlete Funding Notification Network?

Rather than spending your downtime away from training researching athlete funding opportunities BC Athlete Voice has list the Provincial and National opportunities available to athletes on our website (click here). However BC Athlete Voice is not content with just providing you a list of opportunities we’ve made it our goal to ensure that more BC athletes are receiving funds each year from these different initiatives. We are committed to keeping you informed & up to date by sending you email notifications as the deadlines approach outlining what you need to do to apply. We want to provide you the best opportunity to be a recipient of these funding opportunities!

What does a notification look like?

Below is an example of what a BC Athlete Funding Notification looks like. This is a simple email that outlines the basic information you need to apply and access the funding opportunities available at that specific time. Often the notification email will include links to websites where you can find more information, application forms and contact details if you require more information.

How does it work?

BC Athlete Voice has formed partnerships with many organizations that provide funding and support for athletes. Through these partnerships BC Athlete Voice receives direct information on funding opportunities and then passes this on to athletes through the Funding Notification Network. BC Athlete Voice is also proactive in searching and identifying new funding opportunities each month and again shares this information with athletes via Funding Notification Network. Notifications are emailed out to athletes as different funding opportunities become available and the email contains all the essential information needed to apply for the funding opportunity.

How do I join?

When you become a member of BC Athlete Voice (click here) you automatically register for the BC Athlete Funding Notification Network. You will then receive the next funding notification from BC Athlete Voice via email. You can select to no longer receive notifications at any time through a simple process that will take you off the distribution list.
