What are Athlete Leadership Councils?

BC Athlete Voice, Canadian Sport Centre Pacific and PacificSport are working together to establish Athlete Leadership Councils across the province. Each Athlete Leadership Council will collectively promote the ongoing representation of athletes in BC to ensure the athlete voice is provided to the wider community.

This is an exciting opportunity for athletes to make a difference in sport here in BC. Athletes will be provided with an invaluable leadership opportunity where they can build on both personal and professional skills while meeting and socializing with other like-minded athletes.

The objective of the Athlete Leadership Councils is provide BC Athletes with a collective voice through opportunities to be involved and engaged in formal, structured and supported Athlete Leadership Councils that come together to form a province wide Athlete Advisory Network.
