Learn more about being an advocate and access leadership opportunities right here in BC! BC Athlete Voice is always looking for High Performance Athletes to be proactive members and contribute to our provincial sport system. BC Athlete Voice has a variety of roles for athletes interested in advocacy and leadership - from being a Board Member, to providing athlete feedback and everything in between, we need BC High Performance Athletes to share their voice and be part of BC Athlete Voice.

ProMOTION Plus
 
ProMOTION Plus is the BC organization for girls and women in physical activity and sport.  It was established as a non-profit society in 1990 and is still only one of three provincial organizations in Canada dedicated to creating an environment of equity, access and opportunity for girls and women in the sport and recreation delivery system.
   


Canada Amateur Sports Network (CASN/RSAC)  
CASN/RSAC is an initiative of the COC that will cover all of amateur sport – COC members and non-­members alike. With the assistance of a team of professionals and experts in the sports and marketing community, the COC has launched an initiative to apply for an English language national digital broadcast license to operate as the Canadian Amateur Sports Network (CASN) and a French language national digital broadcast license to operate as Réseau des sports amateur canadiens (RSAC).

True Sport   
 
True Sport is a national Movement of communities and groups across Canada working to ensure a positive, meaningful and enriching experience for all who participate in sport. The True Sport Movement is based on the belief that good sport can help build lasting strengths in individuals, as well as healthy, vibrant communities and a more socially connected Canada. At the heart of True Sport there are four core values: fairness, excellence, inclusion and fun.

Play It Cool  
 
'Play It Cool’ is an innovative environmental program that teams elite summer and winter athletes concerned about global warming with the David Suzuki Foundation. By joining Play It Cool you’ll help inspire your team members, sports federations, and fans about solutions to global warming.

Sport Matters
 
The Sport Matters Group is a voluntary group of individuals who have come together to talk about the important contribution that sport makes to society, and to collaborate on various sport policy issues on an ad hoc basis. The Group has actively worked together on the Canadian Sport Policy, the new Sport and Physical Activity Act, and on increasing the resources available for sport in Canada.

Right To Play
 
Right To Play is an international humanitarian organization that uses sport and play programs to improve health, develop life skills, and foster peace for children and communities in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world. Working in both the humanitarian and development context, Right To Play trains local community leaders as Coaches to deliver our programs in more than 20 countries affected by war, poverty, and disease in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
